Where it all began.

Over thirty five years ago, Paul Unter provided back office accounting services to construction firms. In 1986, he combined his accounting and construction knowledge with technology; consulting and training for Software Shop Systems. One of the first software solutions developed for contractors. His journey began helping contractors automate and streamline their business processes using desktop computers. In 1988, he started CIS with Theresa Corso an assistant controller working for two construction firms and a Software Shop user.
